Life is short. Have an affair...Ashley Madison are you crazy????
Have you seen or heard about this new service/trend in online dating? Apparently at least 3.7 million folks have - It's an online dating service for married people. You heard me right - for married people!
There is one site in particular, Ashley Madison, that boasts of its membership of over 3.7 million AND even states that there are over 32,000 members in my local area. Its tag line is "Life is short. Have an affair."
The owner suggests that it is a safe alternative for what he would coin as natural behavior (i.e. cheating). His argument is that monogamy is unnatural and folks will stray and its better to stray with folks that are not looking for drama and have been screened.
I come from the school of thought that if an adult wants to do something, they will. However, I am truly concerned that a website/service such as this will only make it easier for married folks to cheat.
Quite troublesome.

OMG...isn't marriage hard enough???
This is crazy. How can this person sleep at night?
insanity. i don't know what's worse: the fact that this type of service even exists...or the fact that this site has over 32,000 members in our area!
What!? That's crazy and makes me so mad! God, who makes something like that?
(Got you entered in the contest!)
Hey Mamas . . . we have an award for you over at lipstickdaily!
My husband and I both heard about this site via radio and The Post Newspaper. Unbelievable. And to know how successful the site is, is even more bothersome.
PS...thanks for visiting! I'm now a new follower!
I agree.. This site is DISGUSTING!! Promoting cheating? This is the craziest site ever.
By the way, I love your blog. I subscribed and was wondering if you would be interested in a button exchange?
Thanks and have a great Sunday!
WOW! This is horrible! Just like Sally's World said marriage is hard enough without society making it any easier!
It may be true that monogomy isn't natural, but I've got a feeling that my marriage is pretty safe, what with my multi-personality disorder and all...
Just kidding.
That's terrible! Next we'll hear that swingers' clubs are mainstream...
wow. that is quite INSANE. I can't even believe it!
You know, in contrast to the other comments, I have to totally agree with your post. I think the amount of divorces and cheating attests to the fact that monogamy is not natural.
