Oh NO She Didn't.

Yesterday, at work, someone from another division said to me: "So - when are you due?" OH YES SHE DID.

Suffice it to say my trendy babydoll sweater is going right back to the store.

Hmph.

This is a new style that doesn't look good unless you are very thin and have no t'n'a. I know because I wore a similar sweater on Saturday and I looked absolutly awful - no one approaced me, but I'm sure people were thinking it. I looked very "full" - just another way of saying that I looked fat. I'm sorry - but the sweater sure is cute.

I was at the club once holding a drink in my hand and wearing a similar shirt and some jerk asked me the same question (after he asked me if I wanted a fresh drink).

There must have been something wrong with her eyes... NO? Did you at least punch her? or throw a stapler at her feet? Something?

The shirt is cute, very cute.

I swear I didn't mean to laugh when I read that. That's the problem with all of these silly peasant tops that are so popular now!

OMG. I'm sure it looked great on you and that you didn't look pregnant. This style evokes involuntary impressions of maternity b/c it borrows too much from maternity clothes, the way they used to be when the only non-frumpy tops made one look like a baby when expecting one.
