Works for Me Wednesday

Evenin'!

I almost didn't participate in WFMW today because I couldn't really think of anything terribly crafty to share. But just now, as I was making Oldest's bed, I thought of a great tip that my hubby actually came up with that might be useful to other moms...

Instead of bending over while trying to put the fitted sheet on a crib mattress or toddler bed mattress, just lift up the whole mattress and change the sheets that way! Does that make sense? It's kind of hard to describe. It's much easier that trying to fight with the sheet corners and tucking in everything just right. Lift up one end of the mattress and put the sheet on that end, then lift up the other end and repeat. Saves my knees and my back every time.

You may already be doing this -- Forgive me, I'm a slow cookie. If not, try it next time you are on linen-change duty. Works for me!

Great tip, this works for me too! Instead of moving the bed/crib away from the wall, I lift up the mattress.
