"Just wanted 2 text u both that ***** took 2 steps today"
I can't believe I missed it.

Awwwwwww.....I can't believe it. She's growing up so fast.
they *told* you?? i worked in daycare for 4 years in the infant room (6 weeks to 24 months where i was) & we never *ever* told a parent a child was doing something we weren't sure the parent had yet to see. i am sure we heard many a first word & witnessed pur share of first steps, but our lips were sealed!
I agree with Dawn. But, regardless of what "allegedly" :) happend when you were not around, the only steps that really count are the ones that you saw for yourself!
i'm with dawn on this one. OMG i would have died right there on the spot. now if they could've v.taped it then we might forgive them :)
Oh, that's sad! Now you'll always feel like you missed that important milestone.
