I've run out

Hubby and I are laying in bed at 10:30 p.m. when we hear princess' bedroom door open. Of course, she doesn't want to sleep and for the past few weeks she's been relying on the well crafted argument that she "can't go to sleep." Tonight though she thought of a new reason for her slumber difficulties - she's "run out of dreams." Hubby and I just look at each other and did everything that we could not to burst with laughter. Where does she get this stuff from???

OMG! My little 4-year-old comes up with stuff all the time! Originally, it was that she was afraid of the dark. Yet, her room is lit up like a 4th of July fair! LOL You know when you go to the fair at night and as soon as you get there, it's like day time again? Yeah. Then it was simply "I'm scared" and we'd remind her that her sister was in the room with her. She has excuses when we tell her it's time to clean her room. She'll "collapse" onto the floor and say her legs hurt. LMBO!!!! And in the tub, if water gets in her eyes (JUST water) she'll start screaming and tell her father "it's burning my eyeballs out!" LOL!!!! I'm just waiting for her to get more creative!!

Now that's funny!! Please don't forget that one in later years. You must tell that one at her sweet 16, or something special!

My now 10-year-old, would sleep with our oldest daughter, and fake like she couldn't breath. The first time she did it see saw all the attention it got her, and access to our bed. Baby girl thought she had it made.

My 5-year-old son is always "just so lonely" when he wakes up in the middle of the night. That or his "eyes won't stay closed".

Thought of you ladies yesterday when I was making "Blogalicious water"!

Ha! My 2-year-old is already playing those games: saying she had a bad dream before actually sleeping, etc. :o)
