Works for Me Wednesday -- Kiddie Cards...

This WFMW post will be short and sweet since I am under the weather and need to go to BED! But I wanted to share this little tip. My Oldest is being increasingly invited to more and more birthday parties (something tells me this isn't gonna end anytime soon) and in addition to a birthday gift, I always end up buying a card for about $2 or $3 that the birthday toddler could less about anyway. So...I searched online and found a couple of websites that offer printable birthday cards. The Fisher-Price one is my favorite right now -- and they offer cards for occasions other than birthdays too. Just click, print and let your little one have at it with her crayons. Ta da! You've saved a couple of bucks and created a personal greeting. Whaddaya think?

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I'm a big planner junkie too. I tried the MomAgenda a couple of years ago, but it didn't "work for me." I love the printable card idea. Thanks for the great tip! I hope you feel better soon. (peanutbutterandjellyinthevcr)

Great idea! I hate spending money on cards. I've been letting my 5 year old design her own card from scratch as another alternative. She just draws a picture of her and her friend and adds some balloons, etc. My son isn't as into drawing, so the printable idea will come in handy.

That's a good idea. I knew there were sites that let you make a card for a fee, but free is awesome! I usually buy my cards at the local Dollar Tree (50 cents per card) or in the thrift store (12 cards for $1.20). Online is better because I don't have to get the girls ready to go!
