I currently drive a Kia Optima whihc I bouth before the husband and the daughter. NOw that we're tryign ti expand our family we're also rethinking our current transportaation needs. So far this is what I have:
1. good gas mileage.... it takes me roughly an hour every morning and evening to do drop off adnpickup and and get to and from work. So the least amount I have to spend on gas the better.
2. I agree with the Fabulous comment by Coach'm up Boni. right now I am inlove with the Merceds R class and the Honda Pilot. I love them both. But I'm still lookin out.
3. Must have lots of inside spaciness, and compartments to store things.
4. I like the rear-view camera and the parking sensors.
5. Wonderful stereo system
6. if somehow i can remotely start the engine and airconditon that would be great. I live in a hot climate, so jumping in my car in the middle of the day is torture!

So yea ..Funtional and Fabulous!!M'kaila's Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03359650166488592242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153372811341628494.post-61167211820187445852009-07-16T16:28:50.466-04:002009-07-16T16:28:50.466-04:00I'm with the previous commenter: Functional an...I'm with the previous commenter: Functional and Fabulous is what I want!

For example, I LOVE (I mean LOVE)the Audi Q7. But it's not functional for me and my boatload of kids. I do LOVE it though. Audi? Are you listening?

Same goes for the Mercedes M-Class.

And I REALLY like my GMC Acadia. It IS functional and pretty fabulous. It's sleek and offers the benefits of a minivan without looking like one. My only issue is that it's a pain to buckle in kids in the last row. I suppose I could have avoided that if I got a minivan with a sliding door. But I refuse. I am too sexy for a minivan.

I am looking forward to the Ford visit! And I appreciate them asking us what we want in a car. I'm curious to see what they have in the Functional and Fabulous category.Justice Fergiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149599507464194078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153372811341628494.post-48528179500507306862009-07-16T15:46:05.696-04:002009-07-16T15:46:05.696-04:00The perfect mommy car is always on my mind. I'm so glad Ford is taking the time to listen to what real women want in a car!

I had the same jaguar you did and I broke down at least twice with with. I refuse to buy a mini van. I currently drive a honda element and even though it's boxy (which I don't like), it is roomy and the back seat is tiered higher like a theater (which I do like). It is taller than most cars and has the feel of an SUV but is not bulky. So when inside I love driving it, on the outside it is not appealing. Just because we have kids doesn't mean we don't want to look good in our cars. Functional and Fabulous is what I want!Mommyinthemomenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01446523818598039536noreply@blogger.com
